 2013 Superhero Sprint Volunteers
It's time for the 3rd Annual United Way Superhero Sprint! The 1-mile race will take place on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to register participants, hand out t-shirts, direct the participants on the correct course, and serve water after the race.

 Literacy Celebration!
The 2nd annual Literacy Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Dalton Community Center. Come out and help show our community how much literacy can impact their lives!

Volunteer Vacation
Join the United Way Youth Volunteer Corps July 9th and 10th for Volunteer Vacation. Volunteer Vacation is a day service camp where youth complete two volunteer projects in the morning and one in the afternoon. Youth are able to get involved in local volunteer projects and make a difference in our community while having fun! Volunteer Vacation is free and is open to youth ages 13-21. The program begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. each day. Registration is due by July 3rd. You must fill out a registration form to participate.  Volunteer During The Longest Week Of The Year!
Join United Way's Day of Action during the week of June 17th-June 21st (longest day of the year) at Whitfield County's Lunch and Learn Summer Program. Volunteers are needed to assist children and parents with educational activities and kindergarten readiness skills.

Lunch and Learn is an educational summer program designed for children ages 3-5. Children will be able to pick up a lunch and go to a learning center where they will work on building pre-k and kindergarten readiness skills. Volunteers are needed to assist with the educational activities.
