The 4C Coalition is recruiting mentors to help young people struggling through the juvenile justice court system. The 4C Coalition Mentor Program recruits, trains and retains mentors for youth (12 to 18). Youth with a mentor spend fewer days in detention, are more likely to stay in school and report better relationships with their families than their peers. This incredible change comes about just by paying attention to these youth that have been ignored for so long. We can reclaim our youth, our neighborhoods, and our city. One person can make a huge difference. Make a difference as a mentor now.
Mentors just need to have a desire to work with a youth and this population that is often over-looked. Make a one year commitment to help a young person. Time commitment averages 4-6 hours a month. Basic requirement is to make contact weekly. Volunteers will learn about the juvenile justice system. These youth need people who care. An ongoing opportunity with continuous training's, immediate need for more Mentors. MEN AND WOMEN NEEDED!!!! This opportunity is sponsored by: 4C Coalition
