Various mentoring opportunities exist in Boy Scouts including direct youth leadership, organizational and support functions. Many people enjoy the role of merit badge counselor which allows them to share specialized knowledge with Scouts who share their interests. We also have positions for people who enjoy fund-raising, adult leader training, membership development and record-keeping.

There are no mandatory training requirements other than youth protection which can be done online. We welcome all volunteers

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Adolescents (13-17)  Low-income / Poverty
Adults (26-54)  Minorities
Children (5-12)  Older Adults (55+)
Families / Parents  Young Adults (18-25)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
Evenings  Weekdays
Monthly  Weekends
Occasional  Weekly
This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers
