The YWCA will celebrate 100 years in camping in 2014!. We hope to put our history together in time for this 100th birthday party. We have operated three camps in our history. Most of our research has been done at Burton Historical Library, but we would like to also interview alumni and organize what information we have gathered already! We are very flexible and will gladly work with volunteers on times and days they can help! Volunteer tasks include: Scanning and Compiling material at Burton Historical Library Scrap booking by Era Scanning pictures Obtaining oral histories Reorganizing our historical files Creating displays Planning the party Searching for Alumni Marketing
