Volunteers 15 and older to assist in the childcare setting of Baby College (YMCA's parenting program). Classes are held at the YMCA of Reading and Berks County on Saturdays from 9AM - 12PM for 9 weeks. Assist childcare providers in taking care of children 0-5 years of age, playing games, doing activities, feeding, etc. Ongoing participation is appreciated but not necessary. Next session to begin May 2nd. Volunteers must love kids, arts and crafts, and a noisy environment (children laugh, cry and sometimes scream). Some lifting (of children) required. Singing, dancing and numerous interactive activities are the name of the game. If you are bilingual (Spanish)- great! This opportunity is sponsored by: Baby College
