Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers assist adults 16 years and older to improve basic skills such as reading, writing and math; prepare for the GED exam; or learn English. The adult learners are striving to improve their lives through education and improved academic skills. Volunteers work under the direction of a professional instructor. Classrooms are located throughout Johnson County. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have completed high school or the GED. No special degrees are required. Training is provided.
