Abbie Hunt Bryce Home - Special Services Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The mission of the AHB Home is to provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified support to citizens of central Indiana who are terminally ill and without resources. With the help of many committed volunteers we offer comfort, warmth, and love at the end of life's journey for our residents. Volunteers may provide the following special services in the Home: barber & beautician visits, dental care, foot care, massage therapy, music therapy, art therapy, and animal assisted therapy.

AHB Home Volunteers must attend a 2 hour hospice and agency orientation. All volunteer are required to receive a TB test at no cost to the volunteer. NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, all volunteer positions are non-medical in nature. Volunteers must provide own transportation to the Home.
