Our organization is hitting the ground running in 2012. We are seeking a volunteer with copyediting experience and a passion for word-smithing to help craft and implement several exciting new fundraising and outreach initiatives, including a planned overhaul of our website. You should have a keen eye for typos and a love of polishing written text. You will work most closely with our Director of Strategy & Development, with some time spent on other projects as needed. Please be prepared to commit to a few hours per week for at least 4 months. Please let us know what experience you have had writing and editing, especially in the fundraising realm. Volunteer shifts will be scheduled during regular office hours. This opportunity is sponsored by: Zen Hospice Project

Overall Experience
Zen Hospice Project is about doing what you can, when you can.

Zen Hospice has created a soothing and uplifting atmosphere for everyone, clients, staff and volunteers alike. I felt that my work with them helped support and maintain that atmosphere. I left every volunteer shift feeling calmer than when I had started.
