Books and audio-visual items are constantly moving between Arlington’s Central Library and its seven branches in order to serve the needs of our customers. When the materials arrive at their destination, they are taken out of the delivery crates, checked in at a computer terminal, sorted and put in their proper place. There is a two-hour shift available on Monday morning. A two-month commitment is requested.
We are looking for people who are dependable, and enjoy working on detailed projects. They must be able to bend and stretch and wheel carts of materials around. A background check for those 18 years and older is required. This opportunity is sponsored by: Arlington Public Library
We need volunteers who are free at these times
