The American Red Cross is needing a few volunteers that can help out. The American Red Cross in Ada, Oklahoma works to help out the people in Pontotoc County and puts all of its efforts into providing for any individual in need. We help people contact their family members, find shelter and supplies when needed, recover from disasters that strike, and we also help military families with many different services. We also offer courses in CPR and participate in local blood drives to help out our communities. This opportunity is sponsored by: Ada Regional United Way, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times

Overall Experience

Leave with a great feeling of being a part of the community.

I have had the opportunity to volunteer with Matthew 25 Mission. What a great way to truly see faces that are affected by our volunteerism! So many hugs and tears of thanks to all who help with this activity. It would be difficult to leave the volunteer opportunity without knowing that you have made a difference. I found the experience to be excellent! posted by Latricia.Bryant@adaunitedway.org on December 8, 2011 |
