Deaconess Children's Services is looking for dedicated volunteers to work in our Child Development Program in Monroe. We provide a safe and support environment for children in the Latino population to play and learn while their parents are attending a support group and learning a variety of skills.

Location/Time
Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Monroe, Wa

Qualifications:

Must be 16 years of age or older
Have lived in WA state for 3 years or longer
Attend a Child Development training
Pass a WA DSHS background check
Pass a WA State Patrol background Check
Speaking Spanish is helpful but not required
Love working with Children
Be positive role model

Directions:

 Our main office is a half-mile west of Forest Park, just off Mukilteo Boulevard. From I-5, take Exit 192 (Mukilteo); off the exit ramp, head west on 41st Street; continue through two traffic lights, past Forest Park (the street name changes to Mukilteo Blvd.); keep going up the hill, and take a left at the next light (Dogwood Drive). Our building is on the right side of the street, about 100 yards after the turn.
  Nearest Bus Stop: Everett Transit - Routes 1, 2 & 23; stop is at Mukilteo Blvd. & Dogwood Drive (a.k.a. Olympic Blvd. on north side of Mukilteo Blvd. ), 3 minute walk
