Nature Consortium is a community-based non-profit organization whose mission is teaching environmental lessons through the creative arts and hands-on conservation projects. We are in need of a volunteer grantwriter to help our development staff research and write approximately ten grants in the next two months. Nature Consortium t-shirt, coffee and cupcakes provided! Our vital programs include: • Youth Art Program- an out of school time program that provides free environmental art classes to at-risk youth living in public housing communities throughout King county. • Urban Forest Restoration Project- a long-term habitat restoration project in the West Duwamish Greenbelt, which is the largest remaining contiguous forest in Seattle. • Arts in Nature Festival- an annual summer festival that explores nature and the environment through visual arts, music, dance, theater, an outdoor museum of sound and eco-arts activities for families. Put your writing skills, attention to detail and strategic judgment to work to benefit the arts and the environment. Contact us if you have successful grant writing experience, knowledge of foundation and government funding sources, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to work as member of a team. Contact us below for more information.
