Grieving is always a challenge, especially during the holiday season. If you have one afternoon to spare each week through out the month of December, we could use your generous services in the Horizon Grief Resource Center.
We encourage you to use your talents, either through listening, crafting holiday cards, prepping hospice admission gifts, etc. Our goal is to have the center double-staffed by volunteers. You will welcome walk-in guests, help with holiday projects & activities, & enjoy a good cup of hot chocolate with other staff or volunteers. If you are looking for a meaningful short-term volunteer opportunity, please consider helping Horizon out this holiday!
All volunteers receive an interview & training. You must be a compassionate individual with 2 - 3 hours of availability each week through out December. This opportunity is sponsored by: Horizon Home Care & Hospice
