Provide hands-on computer assistance to older adults (ages 50+) in a formal computer classroom setting. While Computer Teacher is providing instruction, volunteer will be responsible for walking around the room, assisting students one-on-one with learning the techniques being presented. Classes generally consist of 15-23 students. Volunteers must have experience and knowledge with operation of Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007. Previous teaching experience is not necessary. Volunteers must also be available between 9:00 and 11:30 A.M. at least one day per week (but this opportunity may be present as many as 4 times per week, depending on current computer class schedule).
