Provide hands-on computer assistance to older adults (ages 50+) in a formal computer classroom setting. While Computer Teacher is providing instruction, volunteer will be responsible for walking around the room, assisting students one-on-one with learning the techniques being presented. Classes generally consist of 15-23 students. RSVP members are eligible for this opportunity. Volunteers must have experience and knowledge with operation of Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007. Previous teaching experience is not necessary. Volunteers must also be available between 9:00 and 11:30 A.M. at least one day per week (but this opportunity may be present as many as 4 times per week, depending on current computer class schedule).
