WANTED: College Student Organizers Selected student organizers may recruit student organizations to assist The National Cesar E. Chavez Blood Drive Challenge is an exciting service learning event where ultimately hundreds of colleges / universities will participate annually. The event is coordinated by one student organization who will partner with the local blood drive and design and implement a donor recruitment and health education campaign focused on recruiting new donors, especially Latino/Hispanic first-time donors. The national competition counts with student training and recognition, along with a great big trophy for the winning campus for the Most Successful Blood Drive and plaques for the Top 10. The blood drives will take place on or near March 31st, on Cesar E. Chavez's Birthday.
