This job would consist of sitting down with students at a table and talking to them. This is not a supervision role--the hope is that your consistent presence will build meaningful relationships with our young people and give them another adult who is interested in their life. Ideally, this role would be a consistent one--whether it is the same day(s) of the week or the same time. The value of this role comes from the consistency and the relationship-building with the students. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: whatever time you can give would be great! DAY OF WEEK: flexible, schooldays. TIME OF DAY: 11:30-12:50 each day. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We will have you meet with the building Principal to go over responsibilities.
