Volunteer Opportunity - RADIO GUEST ASSISTANT

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

As part of our literacy outreach service, Be the Star You Are!® charity has been broadcasting an internationally syndicated radio program live since 1998. We are seeking a committed, intelligent, highly motivated individual to assist our radio guest coordinator with finding appropriate authors for our show via internet research. We will train for this position and require volunteer must commit for a minimum of six months. This is a virtual opportunity and will be operated from your own personal computer. Position requires approximately 2 hours per week.

Available for community service credits.

Requirements include:
*Must have your own personal computer with high speed internet connections
*Must be internet savvy and able to research required sites
*Candidate must be able to create a spreadsheet.
*Candidate must have the ability to respond to emails promptly with no longer than a 24 hour delay.
*It is mandatory to have competency working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
