Brandywine Zoo volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and pass a Delaware State Parks background check. Additional requirements apply for more advanced volunteer opportunities and may be discussed during interview process.

Directions from I95 and Rt. 202 (Concord Pike): Take I95 to exit 8, Rt. 202 Concord Pike South. As you come to the first stop light, make a right onto Broom Street. Take Broom Street to the end. Turn left and then take the second right onto Van Buren Street (it is a cobblestone road). The Education Bldg. and Exotic House are on the right. The Main Zoo is on your left. If you turn left at the bottom of the hill (onto North Park Drive), you will find parking on your right, across from the main entrance of the zoo.   Nearest Bus Stop: DART, 2 minute walk
