Manage the waiting areas at Aurora St. Luke's to ensure that patients and visitors are receiving the best possible care. As a Waiting Area Host you will manage the needs of patients and visitors in our busy waiting rooms by making the environment as comfortable and healing as possible. You will also escort patients to different areas of the hospital. In the waiting area some of the duties would include; offering beverages to those waiting, making sure they have things to read, communicating information to them and making the environment calm and healing. RSVP members are eligible for this opportunity.
Volunteers must work well with others and have excellent communication skills.
Training will be provided.
