Join a group of awesome volunteers and crew leaders from the Evergreen Mt Bike Alliance as we improve the mountain bike trails and drainage at the I-5 Colonnade Mt Bike Park in Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood. This is an ongoing project. We have scheduled volunteer work parties, but can also work with your group to coordinate a project on a specific date. Contact Mike Westra below to schedule work party on any day -- any time! I-5 Colonnade is the first ever urban mountain bike skills park. It's part of a City of Seattle park, but was funded and constructed by the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. The park features a novice, intermediate and advanced riding areas.
No prior training required. Bring some sturdy boots, work gloves and some kind of eye protection. A hydration pack with water and a snack is a great idea, too. We'll provide all of the tools and crew leaders, as well as water and a few snacks. This opportunity is sponsored by: Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance
