Volunteer Opportunity Details:

PCS/Albert Music Hall presents live stage concerts every Saturday night throughout the year. Typically there are 7 bands playing an ever-changing combination of Country, Bluegrass, and Old-Time music. All vocalists and instruments normally have their own microphones. About 90% of the instruments are acoustic with the remainder being electric and utilizing direct plug-in connections. Concerts begin at 7:30pm and continue through 11:30pm each Saturday night.
Person(s) are needed to assist the PCS Sound Engineer during presentation of these live shows. Musical groups change every 30-minutes throughout the evening necessitating the need for prompt audio stage reconfiguration in accordance with each individual group's requirements.

Training will be provided, on the job, by Albert Music Hall volunteers. A conceptual understanding of live stage microphone/monitor operation would be helpful, although not essential.
The volunteer should be capable of quickly moving about the stage to effectively position the microphones in a minimal amount of time.

Directions:

When traveling from North or South NJ, use Garden State Parkway Exit 69. Then proceed approx. 2 miles East on Wells Mills Road. Albert Music Hall will be on the right side. The Hall shares the parking lot with the Frederic Priff School. When traveling on Route 9, proceed to the traffic light at the Rt. 9 and Wells Mills Road intersection. Go West on Wells Mills Road 1/8th mile. Albert Music Hall will be on the left side. Note: The Hall faces the parking lot of the Priff School.
