Volunteers are needed to paint simple designs on the faces of children attending Free Friday Flicks. This is an ideal opportunity for corporate and church groups. Free Friday Flicks will take place at Jacobson Park on the following Friday evenings: May 29th, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, and June 26th with a rain date set for July 10th. Face Painting will occur from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Free Friday Flicks is a family event that attracts large numbers of children and offers a newly released, kid-friendly movie, children's games and a petting zoo.
No previous artistic experience is required. Example sheets will be provided, but most children request an item that is meaningful to them. Paints and materials will also be provided by the Division of Parks and Recreation. Ideal volunteers for this opportunity will be age 16 and above, but a group of younger volunteers may also be considered.
