| Last updated on November 26, 2009 |
We have a wonderfully equipped kitchen in our new facility. Our cook is busy fixing breakfast and lunch for 20-30 children Monday through Thursday. She is looking for someone who would enjoy working with her from 10:45 to 12:00 am on Tuesday and Thursday to help set do final preparation for lunch and to help serve the meal to the toddlers, preschoolers and pre-K children. These are her busiest days and she would welcome working with someone to better meet the needs of the children. Volunteers will need to have a Food Handlers card in order to work in the kitchen. We will provide the workbook for the test and facilitate taking the test as well as pay the $10 fee for the card, if needed. The program director will give a one hour orientation to the organization and the program. This opportunity is sponsored by: Pearl Buck Center Incorporated
