Enhancing Lives through art, music and stories

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Adults with profound developmental disabilities attend the Life Enhancing Activities Program Monday through Friday from 9-2:30. Your presence as a volunteers gives the clients in this program one on one attention reading a story, painting a picture or singing a song. Volunteers who are artistic will enjoy are large well lighted art room where clients, many of whom are unable to talk to find ways to express themselves through a variety of art mediums. Volunteers will have an orientation to the organization and the program which takes about an hour. They will observe in the program as long as needed to feel comfortable.
