Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 6, 2009 |
We have an opportunity to help elderly, Women, and Children in our local community by packing boxes of food. The warehouse is located in Concord and the food packed is free to low-income citizens. The people that receive this food live on a fixed income from month to month and really rely on the food we provide. Your help is very much appreciated. Work is done in a warehouse and is dusty. The completed boxes weigh about 35 lbs. There is quite a bit of walking but many things can be done without lifting a lot of weight for example taping boxes of adding cans of food into boxes. This opportunity is sponsored by: Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Concord
We need volunteers who are free at these times
