Overall Experience

I learned new skills, but mainly worked with fantastic people!!!
 |
Worked with Terry Hagen on updating the 211 system in Olmsted County for 3 months. I hadnt worked outside the home for 8 years, and despite my disability was able to gain self-confidence and it also helped my 12-Step Program. I learned that helping others was essential to my Recovery from Chemical Dependency.
Everyone at the United Way was more than welcoming to me in every way. They even included me in parties and gatherings!!! posted by Margo.MacDonald on May 14, 2008 |
