The Dad's Making a Difference program targets fathers and male role models in a child’s life. The mission of Dads Making a Difference is to provide resources to help ensure that fathers and significant men involved in the life of a child are having a positive impact on their children’s lives. We are looking for someone to work with and assist our dads on increasing their skills in a variety of areas. These areas are included below and can be completed individually or collectively by one or multiple volunteers. Specific Responsibilities Include Assist dads with learning about interviewing skills, preparing a resume, dressing for an interview. Tutor dads who are illiterate. Teach financial skills such as setting up a checking account, comparative shopping, budgeting, saving money. Talk about issues related to men's health including possibly family planning and communicable diseases. Provide administrative support such as revising forms on computer, copying, etc.
