Volunteer Opportunity - Gala Event Assistants

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Love to throw parties? Want to assert the vitality of dance in our community in the process? Gala Events Assistants work alongside Ballet Fantastique’s Gala Events Coordinator and Team in organizing, coordinating, and implementing bi-annual fundraising celebrations that provide integral support to Ballet Fantastique’s groundbreaking educational programs. Join us in whatever capacities best suit you: decorations, silent auction, flowers, event management, or public relations. Commit to September’s “Debut Fantastique” and/or to October’s VIP party "Starry Night". There many more planned for the winter and spring months also. Depending on what areas you’re helping with, we’ll need you in the two months prior and on the night of the event. Join us!

Ballet Fantastique is located in the heart of downtown Eugene's ever-beautifully changing art and theater district, with easy access to our new public library, Oregon Festival of American Music facilities, and the world-class Hult Center for the Performing Arts. Find us beside the Downtown Athletic Club on the corner of E. 10th Ave. and Oak Alley. Parking is conveniently located above in the Oak Street Overpark, and is free on evenings and weekends, and on weekdays for the first hour.   Nearest Bus Stop: Eugene Station is one and one-half blocks from our downtown studio., 2 minute walk
