Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Compassionate Touch Volunteers offer a variety of safe, effective, and nurturing comfort therapies which complement standard medical practices. Compassionate Touch Volunteers provide both conventional and complementary treatments within the realm of appropriate education, certification, or licensure.

At least 18 years of age.
Complete application, background check, training, placement interview, and orientation as required.
Complete health clearance, including TB test, after completion of training.
Documentation of appropriate education, certification, or license as required by specific therapy.
Proof of current liability/malpractice insurance as required by specific therapy.

This is the mailing address for Evergreen Hospice Services. The training will be at our inpatient hospice center near Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland and volunteer opportunities are available at the hospice center, our administrative offices, and throughout King and Snohomish Counties.
