Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Animal Assisted Therapy Volunteers are members of the Evergreen Hospice Program who work under the supervision of the Coordinator of Hospice Volunteers. The Evergreen Hospice Animal Assisted Therapy Program uses teams of registered therapy animals, trained volunteers and staff to offer gentle touch and compassionate care to Evergreen Hospice patients who are terminally ill and their families

Directions:

Northbound on 1- 405 Take the NE 124th Street/Totem Lake Boulevard Exit (20B); stay to the right and follow the Totem Lake Boulevard Exit. Proceed straight from the stop light, up the hill to NE 128th Street and take a right at the stoplight. The road curves north and becomes 124th Avenue NE. When you come to the stop sign, turn right into the Hospice Center parking lot. Southbound on 1- 405 Take the NE 124th Street Exit (20); turn right onto 124th Street, then right onto 116th Avenue NE, right on NE 132nd Street, right onto 124th Avenue NE. Proceed to the second stop sign and take a left into the Hospice Center parking lot.   Nearest Bus Stop: NE 128th St & 120th Ave NE, 8 min walk minute walk
