Description:
Cabrini Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a six story facility located in Manhattan's East Village. CCNR takes care of some complex medical needs of the frail aged. We have highly professional staff who address these needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their efforts are aided by highly dedicated volunteers. We have a specialized Alzheimer unit, in addition to a rehabilitation unit. We also have Adult Daycare and Immigrant Services. Volunteers help transport residents to a variety of activities, including rehabilitational therapy, religious services, and recreational programs. They also spend quality time with our residents, visiting one on one.
History:
Cabrini Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has been in existence for 15 years, and took over an existing nursing home, American. In that time we have endeavored to offer a variety of services to our frail aged. We offer adult daycare in a different location as well as home care.
