Description:
Animal Lifeline accepts unowned cats and dogs that are injured, have a disability or serious medical condition, pregnant, nursing, abandoned, neglected, or abused. We also accept orphaned puppies and kittens that require bottle feeding. We are supported solely by donations and the proceeds from our Thrift Shop and much of the animal care is completed by volunteers. Once healthy and strong, animals are placed up for adoption. Recognized as a charitable 501(c)3 organization.

History:
Animal Lifeline of Iowa, Inc was founded in 1987 and incorporated in 1989. Founding belief was that no animal should be euthanized simply because a home had not been found within a certain amount of time. That remains our belief today.
