Kaiser Permanente exists to provide affordable, high quality health care services and to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve.
Description:
Kaiser Hayward Hospice provides a coordinated program of care for the terminally ill, their families and their caregivers. Volunteers are an important part of the care process for many of our patients. We offer a holistic approach addressing the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of each patient, usually in their place of residence or in a skilled nursing home.
As a team we are dedicated to the promotion of the patient's comfort and the relief of troublesome symptoms. . Our hospice service areas include San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Hayward, Union City, Newark and Fremont.
