The mission of the VIPS Program is to facilitate and promote opportunities for citizen involvement and participation within the Judiciary based on the needs of the Judiciary and the skills, talents and interests of the volunteers.

Description:
VIPS places volunteers in various agencies within the Judiciary, where volunteers could receive the most benefit and provide the best assistance to staff, based on their interest and capabilities. VIPS works to ensure that all placements are mutually beneficial as to maximize the commitment of volunteers and retention of placement offices. In order to do this, we need volunteers to adhere to the schedule agreed upon with their placement supervisor.

Volunteer Reflections    Post Your Own!

Volunteers In Public Service (VIPS) To The Courts 5 Overall Experience    Experience rating
Independant Work Environment with Limited Supervisory oversight which helps to Motivate and Stimulate your Work Experience.

I'm actually writing this for my Wife she's sort of shy and bashful and I told her that we could help alot of people if we tell them what her experience with this Program was. I forgot what office my wife worked at. But, I know it was located directly behind the State building with which you would apply for your State ID. The Building right behind. My wife really enjoyed the Work Environment there and she would Answer Phones, File Papers and do all sorts of Extra things around the Office that would require "Much" Trustworthiness and Stewardship on my wife' part. She really had a very Exciting and Meaninful Relationship with the Women that she worked with and had no Problems the whole approximately Nine Months that she Volunteered there in the Office. They "Admired" my wife' Willingness to be able to Accept more Responsibility coupled with her being a "Quick Learner" and "Self Reliant" totally Independant. She learned about this "Volunteer Job" through her Professors there at "Honolulu Community College" and even though my Wife left this "Valuable Volunteer" once in a Lifetime Job. She almost got "Hired" there. But, because we live in "Makaha" and another Job Oppurtunity arose for her to travel throughout the Outer Islands, Guam and Saipan-She took that Job Instead. So, if you're a "Quick Learner", "Self Motivated" and have the "Initiative" to Challenge yourself in an Office Environment, I'd "Highly Recommend" this Volunteer Work Experience where I failed to mention-you can "NetWork" because you can come into Contact with Many different people from all Walks of Life and if you can Prove your Self Worth, Initiative and Motivation throughout, I Guarantee that you will be the "Only One" coming out a "Winner". Thank you for hearing me out. Ulysses Kawika Saromines
