Lamorinda DART's mission is to assist pets and their owners during a disaster in Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda (Lamorinda)
Description:
Lamorinda DART (Disaster Animal Response Tam) is the animal rescue and sheltering branch of Lamorinda CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). Our members are trained disaster responders for both humans and animals. During a disaster we will try to Save the Whole Family.
History:
Lamorinda DART was founded a year ago by animal disaster responders from Noah's Wish, Best Friends Animal Society (Rapid Response Team), the Contra Costa County Pet Emergency Preparedness Team and Lamorinda CERT
