MA Affiliate Of Susan G. Komen For The Cure

The Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is dedicated to reducing the impact of breast cancer in our state by funding local education, screening and treatment programs, with an emphasis on those facing barriers to care, such as financial or cultural. We are committed to 100% screening and 100% access to care. In FY2009, with the help of the community support, our Affiliate granted over $1million to 29 community organizations throughout the Commonwealth. 25% of the money we raise is submitted to Komen National for research grants and awards. The majority of the money, 75%, stays in Massachusetts to fund programs committed to our goals.
