Special Olympics Virginia, Northern Virginia is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Virginia, Northern Virginia serves all of the communities of Arlington County, City of Alexandria, and Fairfax County. Special Olympics Virginia, Northern Virginia is known as Area 26 and is accredited by Special Olympics Virginia.
