History:
The history of Catholic education in Everett dates back to the late 1800's when Saint Dominic's Academy opened to offer a growing Catholic population an opportunity to have its children taught with what one parishioner later called, "...an education with conscience...”
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and School has been celebrating the liturgy and educating students since the founding of the City of Everett in 1891. As the population of Everett grew another church was needed and in 1904, Immaculate Conception opened its doors in service to its downtown neighbors. Just two decades later, the cornerstone of Immaculate Conception School was mortared into place.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Immaculate Conception Schools have provided over a century of service to the surrounding community. Thousands of children have filled our classrooms, leaving behind irreplaceable memories and relationships that have endured the test of time.
The students of Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School have gone forth into their communities practicing their faith and carrying on a love for learning and for their fellow travelers on this earth.
The school continues to offer an outstanding education devoted to academic excellence, striving to foster spiritual growth of all students, and challenging our students to go forth as Christian leaders to respond to the needs of our larger community.
