"To make sustainable Real Estate increasingly mainstream" by making it easier for those in our green building community to choose sustainable options.
Together, as the local green building community, we are creating and sharing viable, cost effective sustainable solutions to encourage local implementation.
Increasing green demand directly results in increasing the number of green solutions being chosen and reducing our combined carbon footprint.
Description: The Fairchester Green Building Council is a new, non-profit serving the Fairfield and Westchester region. The conviction of over 600 real estate professionals who value what we are working to achieve, is our mandate to support the implementation of sustainability across our region
We are a volunteer organization with four committees working on reducing the carbon footprint of our region.
We currently have over 100 members. Our target audience is real estate professionals involved in all aspects of the commercial, industrial or residential real estate industry.
In the future, we look forward to being able to provide information and resources to help non-professionals (e.g., homeowners etc.) green their properties.
