The Family Support Council offers services and resources to support and build strong, nurturing families in NW GA.
Started in 1980 the Family Support Council is now an umbrella agency, in association with the United Way, that is home to over a dozen programs which support our community.
A Chartered Council of Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, the Family Support Council's mission is to create a model community in which all children are safe, nurtured and empowered to reach their full potential.

History:
Begun in 1980, Family Support Council is now an umbrella agency with about a dozen programs underneath it.
Programs include Kids on the Block, Oak Haven, First Steps, Preschool Outreach and CASA.
