The Boys and Girls club is truly about supporting and encouraging children. I gained responsibility and an entire new outlook on the possibilities I have to help better a child's future. posted by misscedez on April 29, 2009 |

Overall Experience

It's amazing to have a positive influence on children looking for someone to make a difference!!!!

I volunteered in the "Teen Room" of the Bloomington Boys and Girls club. At first, the experience was a bit nerve recking, being 18 and counseling kids anywhere from 1 year to 5 years younger than me. I am just so fortunate to have learned how to make a positive difference in the lives of my peers by being a positive example of a fellow youth on the road to success!!! posted on October 21, 2008 |
