Marian Residence

We believe in collaborating with the community at large to support the worth, dignity and care of the elderly person.

Description:
We are a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. We provide 24 hour care in a loving environment. This facility offers a beautiful setting with lovely gardens, trained staff and a full time activity director on staff. We also provide Lifeline Emergency Response Systems to the community for frail elderly or disabled who wish to remain in their homes. This facility also prepares meals for the Meals on Wheels program.

History:
Marian Residence was built in 1940 as Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital. It was built and run by the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity. In 1967 when Marian Medical Center was built it was converted into what it is today, Residential Care for the Elderly and is still owned by the Sisters.
