throughout the region.
Description:
4-H Camp Kidwell offers a wide variety of programs, ranging from summer camp to family events to challenge course activities to facility rentals. We have a wonderful facility to host all of our programs. Camp property consists of over 150 acres of land that is divided between a wooded forest, camp site, sports complex, and lake front access. There are numerous wooded trails and paths that cover the property. We also have numerous building and facilities.
History:
4-H Camp Kidwell started in 1949 as a 8 acre summer camp for Allegan County 4-H. Over the years it has transformed into a 150 acre facility that is open year round and hosts many programs. Since the beginning our focus has been on summer camp and providing young people with the opportunity to learn, grow and explore. We have a close relationship with Michigan State University Extension and 4-H and use that knowledge and connection to provide young people with a lasting experience. As our organization has grown, we have expanded our operation and now offer a wide variety of activities, such as, team building and school programming, youth group and community retreats, community events and a wide variety of other activities.
